DEFENSE LOGISTICS INNOVATION FORUM

The Defense Logistics Innovation Forum (DLIF) is established to foster collaboration, innovation, and problem-solving in the field of defense logistics. The forum serves as a platform for sharing knowledge, identifying emerging technologies and trends, and developing solutions to improve logistics operations across the NAVY and the wider defense community. facilitate collaboration and coordination, enhance knowledge management, facilitate senior-level decision- making, and support Action Officers in DoD with better tools for research and planning connected with their missions.

This Forum introduces cross-level revolutionary contested logistics technologies that impact present and future operational concepts and capabilities for the Joint Commanders and Interagency leaders across the spectrum of conflict. Marcantonio scouts, identifies, evaluates, and delivers technologies from around the globe that can create both direct and indirect military applications to enhance the security and capabilities of the warfighter for the benefit of the United States of America. The objectives of the NAVSEA DLIF are as follows:

a. Drive collaboration: Facilitate collaboration among NAVY personnel, industry partners, academia, and other government agencies to address logistics challenges and enhance operational effectiveness.

b. Foster innovation: Encourage the exploration and adoption of innovative technologies, processes, and practices to optimize logistics operations and improve efficiency.

c. Identify emerging trends: Identify emerging trends and disruptive technologies in the logistics domain and evaluate their potential application within NAVSEA and the defense community.

   d. Develop solutions: Engage in joint problem-solving efforts to develop innovative solutions that address supply chain challenges, reduce costs, and improve mission readiness.

e. Promote best practices: Share best practices, lessons learned, and success stories related to logistics operations and encourage their adoption across NAVSEA and the wider defense community.
